VIRARDI is extremely sensitive towards humanitarian issues and is actively involved in charitable and other similar organisations, thus offering in its own way to our fellow citizens and society in general. Part of the social responsibility of VIRARDI is definitely the protection of the environment and for this reason we are active members of Green Dot and WEE.

VIRARDI & ΚΑΝΕ ΜΙΑ ΕΥΧΗ

With the initiative of the President of the “Heart of Happiness” humanitarian committee of Virardi, Charis Charidemou, Apollon and AEL Football Clubs joined their forces against children cancer. The teams’ game took place on the 30th of August 2008. Donation coupons were on sale at the entrance of the stadium and funds were passed to “Kane mia Efhi” association for children with cancer diseases.

VIRARDI & ROTARACT MISSION FOR LEBANON

VIRARDI and ROTARACT CLUB OF FAMAGUSTA undertook a joint project for collection of clothes for the Lebanese people. The project was an initiative of the Rotaract club of Famagusta. Virardi supported it by providing the necessary resources such as people, storage facilities and transportation for its successful execution. As Giovanni R. Virardi stated, "We wish the fastest possible recovery to the people of Lebanon with God’s help!"

INTERCOLLEGE SPRING FESTIVAL

On Friday 18/05/2007, the "Heart of Happiness" supported the Spring Festival of Intercollege which was organised as a fund raising project for the Kane mia Efhi association.
